Peaks of the Caucasus

My mother recently got me this pleasant wind instrument from Armenia for my 27th Birthday on April 4th.
This instrument has a wood body and a double reed mouth piece.

It is very pitchy and extremely difficult to play well.
It requires you to soak the mouth piece for apx 10 mins before playing and the time you have to play with the instrument is limited since the reed continues to expand rapidly due to the moisture.
That being said, the tones it creates are really unique and very pleasant sounding.
